Monday

9:30-10:45am Hatha Yoga

Classical Hatha yoga was developed in the 15th century for personal spiritual growth. In Sanskrit, Hatha translates to force.

Hatha yoga focuses on posture and breathing techniques to channel vital energy “Prana” by connecting breath, body, and mind. Classes are 75 minutes long and include centering & graunding meditation, breathing, yoga poses, relaxation and final chante of ‘Om’.

Hatha classes provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension, providing a good counterpoint to both busy lifestyles and cardio workouts.

Hatha Yoga is suiatble for all levels including beginners.

Tuesday

7:30-8:45pm Somatic Yin

Somatic Yin is a movement therapy that combines slow movements and  gentle holds with smooth  breathing to help you become more awere of your body and mind. This practice is designed re-educate the body’s movement and sensory perception, as well as release stored tension and trauma.

It not a fitness class but a therapeutic practice that can elevate stress, anxiety, depression and improves the overall well-being of a person.

Yo can gain deeper understanding of  your body’s functions and responses.

Using elements of Mindfulness and Conscious Breathing (Pranayama) this practice also teaches you to sit with and observe uncomfortable emotions, thoughts or physical sensations present in the body. Session finishes with a guided meditation and head or shoulder massage.

Great practice in the evening allows to relax and unwind after the busy day, releasing the tension in the body and mind, whilst improving mobility and flexibility in the body.

Suitable for all levels, also for beginners.

Thursday

6:30-:745pm Embodied Flow (from 5th September)

Embodied Flow is a unique blend of Vinyasa Yoga threaded with fluid Somatic movements.
The term “Flow” refers to the alignment of movement with breath, moving from one pose to the next in a flowing sequence, with the breath coordinating the transitions, that allows you to experience a state of “Flow” – a deeply meditative state, that calls you to look inward, create a safe space for yourself, and tap into your potent energy.
Each session finishes with a guided meditation.
Somatic Flow can improve body awareness, mobility and flexibility, increase concentration and mindfulness, as well as reduce stress and anxiety, and release unwanted emotions trapped in the body.
Embodied Flow is suitable for all, including beginners and more experienced practitioners.

Sunday

7:00-8:30 Rest, Sleep & Sound (monthly)

Rest, Sleep & Sound is a deeply restorative practice that allows you to fully relax and unwind. This session is a combination of Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) and Sound Healing.
Beginning with Restorative Yoga – gentle yoga practice where holding positions for 5-10 minutes with support of propes such as bolsters and blocks, following by Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep – a guided meditation that will take you to a state of complete rest, and culminating with a short Sound Healing relaxation.
Purpose of Rest,Sleep & Sound is to disactivate sympathetic nervous system, and arrive to the rest & digest state,  which slows the heart rate, regulates the blood pressure and relaxes the body, leaving the you feeling rested and restored.

Suitable for all, but especially beneficial for those suffering from insomnia, anxiety, depression, headaches or other stress related conditions.

Slow Flow & Sound

Slow Flow & Sound is an incredibly holistic and deeply therapeutic experience! Combining Somatic slow movements with elements of Thai Yoga Massage and a Sound Bath creates a multi-layered approach to releasing tension, fostering body awareness, and promoting profound relaxation and healing.

This practice is suitable for all, no previous yoga experience is necessary.

Note: Be aware that this practice requires hands on assistance.

Hatha yoga is a classical interpretation of Yoga Asana practice and is focusing on postural alignment, and breathing techniques to channel vital energy sources, connecting breath, body and mind.
Classes include physical postures, breathing exercises or meditation practices, and deep relaxation techniques.
Hatha yoga classes provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension, providing a good counterpoint to both busy lifestyles and cardio workouts, creating a sense of ease in your body, calm in your mind, and peace in your heart.

Classes are 60 minutes long and suitable for all levels, including beginners.

You can book an individual class or a block of classes.

Prices:

£9 – Single Class

£30 – Block of 4 consecutive classes.

Welcome the day with energising session of Hatha Yoga at Cresswell Beach, and follow with revitalising cold water therapy in the North Sea.
As you may already know, Yoga is not only about what you do on the mat.
Yoga is way more then that.
With this yoga sessions we are raising awareness and trying to save lives of babies in Palestine.
If you also share our views you can join us to make a difference and create the world that you want to see with peace, freedom for all.
All money collected from each session goes to supply milk for babies 0-2 years old in occupied Palestine.
