If you feel that you need more time for yourself, to slow down, breathe deeply, rest your busy mind and move consciously, this is the place for you.
In our ever-busy lives, it is hard to find a moment to exercise or meditate and often our well-being gets pushed to the bottom of our “to do list”, never finding time to sit down quietly and contemplate. It can also feel overwhelming coming to general fitness classes, where super-fit, young bodies compete for better abs and toned muscles. Therefore, practicing yoga online in the comfort of your own home can be something exactly for you.
Unlike other forms of exercise, Yoga is non-competitive, offering a deeply personal practice whatever your ability, a in warm and respectful environment. Yoga is for everybody regardless of shape, size, age or mobility.
Here at Fom Online Yoga Community, I will help you find more equilibrium in your life. I will guide you through the poses and help you find mobility and strength for your body, some quiet space in your mind and inspiration to connect with the natural world around you.
My sequences are created to maintain the balance between challenge and comfort– nothing impossibly difficult, yet enough to inspire you to come back for more.
I offer classes specifically designed to different needs and stages of your practice from beginners to more advanced, specifically designed workshops and themed series.
You can always find something that suits you best, whether it is flowing with awareness in a Vinyasa class, focusing on the alignment with Hatha, or completely “letting it go” at Yin & Restorative.
Price: £4 single class
Monday: Yin Yoga 18:00
Tuesday: Mama Bear Yoga 18:00
(6 weeks course, see details below)
This is slower more soothing practice, focused on holding asanas (postures) for longer in order to reach connective tissues, improve mobility and boost circulation in the joints. Suitable for everyone, beginners and above.
This practice is my personal favourite, mixture of gentle Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, with slower pace of sequences, beginning with warm up and stretches, going through Sun Salutation towards some more restorative positions. Suitable for all levels.
Sometimes called “sleepy yoga”, restorative yoga sequence typically involves only fives or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and reset. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twist, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Suitable for all levels.
