A Secret Camping Retreat in Northumberland:

“Wild Women’s Recharge: In Search of Earth Element & Wild Self” is a living laboratory for ecopsychology and the cultivation of the Wild Self.

Escape the everyday and immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Northumberland for a deeply restorative 2 days women’s camping retreat. Rediscover your inner peace, connect with nature, and experience true freedom under the stars.
Join us at a secret, sacred location nestled between the trees in Northumberland for an intimate gathering of just 10 women, designed to honor the land and facilitate profound connection.

 

This Retreat is designed to:

The Wild Camping Experience:

Embrace the simple joys of being in nature with our back-to-basics camp:
Campfire Gatherings: Enjoy crackling fires, good company, and the aroma of woodsmoke.
Hearty Vegan Meals: A warm and nourishing pan of vegan chilli, Dhal for a delicious evening meals.
Nourishing and warming breakfast: Porridge, fruits, and Eggs.
Marshmallows on a Stick: A classic campfire treat for sweet moments.
True Freedom: Experience the liberation of sleeping under the open sky in a special, sacred place.

This is more than just a retreat; it’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember the wild woman within. This is how together we create community and reconnect to the the land and the songs of remembering the old ways.

 

Location & Facilities:

The Secret Campsite is located about 25 minutes drive West from Morpeth, in the beautiful Northumberland contryside.

Location will be revealed to you once you book your stay (pay the deposit).

The campsite is Eco-friendly, trying to have as minimal impact on the environment as possible. Therefore available toilest are compostable, showers are available with warm water, sink for dishes and  composting bins.

There is a Cafe within a short 5 min walking distance from the camsite, a Deli where you can get a coffee and a pastries.

There are lovely art galeries and shops on site available to purchase their craft.

Beautiful countryside walks are in reach.

We share the full cost here to honour both your time and ours. This helps ensure that those who apply are doing so with clarity, commitment, and genuine resonance:

Option 1: Bring your own tent :

Bring your own tent and all the sleeping equipment:

– Deposit: £70 pp

 

Option 2: Pre-pitched Bell tent (sleeps up to 2): 

If you don’t have a tent, or simply don’t want a hassle of puting one up, you can book pre-pitched bell tent (sleeps 2)  for yourself or share it with a friend. You  will simpy bring your sleeping bag or bedding.

– Total Cost: £165 pp

– Deposit: £80 pp

 

Option 3: Shepherd’s Hut (sleeps 1): 

If you don’t have a tent, or simply don’t want a hassle of puting one up,there is a Shepherd’s Hut available on site for you to hire, with adoble bed, bedding, storage and wood burner:

– Deposit: £90 pp

 

How to Book:

A non-refundable deposit, from £70 (depending in the accomodation option), is required to book your stay. 

The remaining amount is to be paid directly into FÕM Yoga bank account by 31st August 2025.

 At the serene location of the coast, overlooking Holy Island, with clean, crisp air, to enhance the connection to the Air element’s qualities.

Who is this Retreat for?

This weekend retreat is for anyone seeking emotional release, clarity, and a deeper connection to their breath.

 Holistic Approach:

With a deep appreciation for the transformative qualities of air like movement, breath, and сonnection to mental space, this retreat weaves together practices from yoga, somatic movement , breathwork, mindfulness and mentoring to create a holistic retreat experience. Participants will be guided to connect with the air element through movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and reflective exercises, fostering a sense of liberation, clarity, and inspired living.

Yes, there’s plenty of yoga, and definitely opportunities to deepen your practice and challenge yourself if you would like… BUT you do not need to be super fit or flexible! 

You do not need to be able to sit for hours of meditation, you do not need to have a lot of yoga experience, you do not need to be a certain age, size, colour, shape, or gender, you do not need to be attending my (or any other) classes regularly – ALL ARE WELCOME! Including non-yogi partner or friends who just want to enjoy the time and space and miss out the yoga (discounts available for this).

Accessibility:

My retreats are aimed at beginners and experienced practitioners alike, but if you are unsure, it’s best to check with me before you book the retreat.

I am happy to accommodate different physical abilities where possible. Please check with your GP that you are well enough to attend the retreat. 

Experiences Included in Your Retreat:

Your Autumn 2025 Rest and Restore Weekend Retreat will include variety of optional experiences including:

  • Departure is on 9:00 am on Monday after breakfast.

PLUS Free time on the Saturday  and Sunday afternoon to enjoy the fabulous serounding or any of the EXTRAS including:

  • Possible excursion to Holy Island (depending on the crossing times) or Bambu

Fenham farm is a self-catering accommodation and retreat venue in a beautiful location overlooking Holy Island on the Northumberland coast

The Granary at Fenham Farm is a distinctive venue for celebrations and tailor made experiences including creative workshops, activity breaks and retreats.

Accommodation:

There are a total of 7 ensuite bedrooms, converted from original farm buildings. Inside each bedroom, you’ll find all round modern comfort with cosy underfloor heating, luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and feather down duvets. The main Granary building houses two bedrooms, generous lounge with stunning sea-views, spacious dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

Guests can relax in the spacious upstairs lounge and enjoy the amazing sea views. It is accessible by lift. One end of the lounge has seating around a large picture window looking out over Holy Island. The other end is a cosy, comfortable space with a wood burning stove.
Books, games, jigsaws, television and local information are all available here.

Fenham Farm Retreat Centre is fully weelchair eccesible with a lift and accesible bathrooms, making it a suitable venue for those with mobility issues. However, always check with your GP that you are well enough to attend the retreat

It is surrounded by stunning countryside, with a gorgeously light and airy yoga studio space. There are lots of added extras for your enjoyment.

Food:

Delicious home-cooked vegetarian meals and treats will be freshly prepared by a certified chef.

All allergies and diets can be catered for so please let me know on your booking form if you have any special dietary requirements.

The Total Cost of the retreat includes:

  • Three nights’ accommodation in a peaceful, nourishing setting
  • All meals and refreshments lovingly prepared
  • All Yoga, Pranayam and Meditation sessions, Guided workshops, embodiment practices,
  • Time and space to rest, reconnect, and remember who you are.

How to Book:

First book your stay:

  • pay Deposit of £125 to secure your stay. Deposit is non-refundable and payable via the Bookwhen booking site (see bottom below) and the remainin balance is payable via direct bank transfer to  avoid you needing to pay any further booking fees.

Payment Options:

Option 1: One payment and of the remaining balance for your chosen accomodation:

  • £370 EB/£420 pp – Shared Room
  • £420 EB/ £470 pp  – Private Room

The final payment is due 5 weeks prior to your weekend retreat, not later then 30th September 2025.

Option 2: Two equal payment of

  • £185 EB  / £210 pp   – Shared Room
  • £210 EB / £235 pp  – Private Room.

If you split the payments into two, the first payment done not later then 30th Septemer and the final payment done not later then 31th october 2025.

We’ve intentionally priced this experience to honour the deep care, presence, and energy that goes into creating a sacred, supportive space — while remaining accessible for those truly ready to invest in themselves.

Cancellations:

Please note that refunds are not given for cancellations. This includes deposits and balance payments. You are strongly recommended to take out insurance to cover reasons for non-attendance. As it is a short-term holiday it is strongly recommended that you take out adequate insurance for sickness, cancellations, and loss/damage to property.

In the very unlikely event of your retreat being cancelled by me, you will be offered an alternative date when one becomes available.

 

Behaviour:

Abusive or unkind behaviour towards teachers, staff, or other students will not be tolerated either online or at classes, and FOM Yoga reserves the right to cancel your booking if it is felt that your behaviour is inappropriate.

 

Limitation of Liability – FOM Yoga:

In the unlikely event of injury, illness or theft or disruption to program, FOM Yoga/Marta Jackson is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property, or for any injury or illness sustained during the retreat.

Please check with your GP that you are well enough to attend the retreat for Yoga activities and walking (retreats are aimed at beginners and experienced practitioners alike, but if you are unsure, it’s best to check).

Cancellation policy is firm. Payment to FOM Yoga/ Marta Jackson indicates agreement with the conditions above, you will also be asked to tick a box on your booking form to confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
