Day Retreat:

21st June 2025

Embrace the longest day under the radiant hues of a Cresswell Beach sunset. Join us for a sacred women’s circle, a space to connect with nature’s potent energy, cultivate inner peace, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of sisterhood.

Location:
Cresswell Beach, Northumberland and Cresswell Village Hall

Duration:
Evening of June 21st from 6pm till late (approximately 4-5 hours)

Cost:
£55 per person
The price includes all the activities, yoga, meditation, sound bath and the meal. 

Experience:
Connection with Nature’s Majesty: Arrive as the sun begins its descent, grounding ourselves in the beauty of Cresswell Beach. We’ll mindfully witness the breathtaking sunset, absorbing its transformative energy and connecting with the rhythms of the natural world.
Solstice Celebration: Honour the peak of summer with symbolic activities acknowledging the abundance and light of the solstice. We will engage in a gentle ritual to set intentions for the season ahead and embrace the turning of the year.
Mindfulness & Well-being Practices: Immerse yourself in guided relaxation and self-reflection. Through gentle breathwork and a grounding meditation, we will cultivate inner stillness and tap into our innate power.
Community & Connection: Share this special experience with a circle of supportive women. We will foster a sense of sisterhood through shared presence, mindful listening, and optional sharing, creating a space of belonging and empowerment.
Solstice Sisterhood by the Sea: A Women’s Circle at Cresswell Sunset
Embrace the longest day under the radiant hues of a Cresswell Beach sunset. Join us for a sacred women’s circle, a space to connect with nature’s potent energy, cultivate inner peace, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of sisterhood.

Activities:
* Welcome Circle: Introduction and setting intentions for the evening.
* Sandy Sun Salute: A yoga session on the beach to give thanks to the Sun, connect with the body and move the energy within.
* Cold Water Therapy: Dipping in the North Sea, increasing circlulation and washinf off of what no longer servse us
* Shared Meal: A nourishing homemade meal of Dahl & Naan to warm up and rejuvenate after the swim.
* Solstice Meditation: A guided meditation focusing on the energy of the solstice, inner light, and personal empowerment.
* Women’s Circle Fire Ritual: A symbolic activity to honor the sun and the strength of the feminine, seating around the fire, drumming, setting intention, sharing stories and wisdome whithin women’s circle.
* Sunset Viewing & Reflection: Appreciating the sunset over Cresswell Beach, with time for journaling or quiet contemplation.
* Freedom Dance: Dancing around the fire until the last bit of sunlight comes down.

* 6:30 PM: Sun Salutes Yoga on the beach
* 7:30 PM Dip in the Sea (optional)
* 8:00 PM: Shared Meal: Dahl & Naan
* 8:45 PM: Sunset Viewing & Solstice Meditation
* 9:30 PM: Women’s Circle Fire Ritual
* 10:00 PM: Freedom Dance around the fire
* 11:00 PM: Closing Circle & Departure

At the serene location of the coast, overlooking Holy Island, with clean, crisp air, to enhance the connection to the Air element’s qualities.

This weekend retreat is for anyone seeking emotional release, clarity, and a deeper connection to their breath.

Breath of Autumn: Air Element Retreat is a dedicated guide in the art of mindful living and the power of breath. With practices like yoga, meditation, and breathwork, this retreat allows you to discover the profound connection between breath, clarity, and inner peace. Through gentle yet transformative practices, empowers you to harness the vital energy of the air element for greater well-being and a deeper sense of presence. This retreat is a culminating passion for sharing the liberating qualities of conscious breathing in our daily lives.

Movement and Flow:

Marta and facilitator specializing in embodied movement and elemental wisdom. Inspired by the fluidity and freedom of the air element, she guides participants in exploring practices that cultivate lightness, adaptability, and a sense of expansive possibility. With a background in yoga, somatic movement and energy work. Marta creates a supportive space for discovering the inherent сonnection between movement, breath, and the boundless nature of our inner landscape. This weekend retreat offers a unique opportunity to move with the wind of your own spirit.

Communication and Mental Clarity:

Helen is a holistic healer workshop leader passionate about the power of clear communication and cultivating a spacious mind. Drawing upon the principles of the air element – intellect, inspiration, and connection – Helen offers tools and techniques to enhance mental clarity, foster authentic expression, and navigate life with greater ease. With expertise in mindfulness, mentoring and communication skills, She invites participants to explore the subtle yet profound influence of the air element on our thoughts, words, and interactions. This retreat is an invitation to liberate your voice and embrace the clarity that arises from a balanced mind.

Holistic Approach:

With a deep appreciation for the transformative qualities of air like movement, breath, and сonnection to mental space, this retreat weaves together practices from yoga, somatic movement , breathwork, mindfulness and mentoring to create a holistic retreat experience. Participants will be guided to connect with the air element through movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and reflective exercises, fostering a sense of liberation, clarity, and inspired living.

How to book Your place:

£125 per person non-refundable deposit will be taken upon booking (via the booking system).

The balance of your fee, what is the cost of your chosen accommodation, will be due 6 weeks prior to your weekend retreat, and payment will be via bank transfer to avoid you needing to pay any further booking fees.

For returning clients I offer a disount of £50 towards your deposit. Please contact me for more details.

Cancellations:

Please note that refunds are not given for cancellations. This includes deposits and balance payments. You are strongly recommended to take out insurance to cover reasons for non-attendance. As it is a short-term holiday it is strongly recommended that you take out adequate insurance for sickness, cancellations, and loss/damage to property.

In the very unlikely event of your retreat being cancelled by me, you will be offered an alternative date when one becomes available.

 

Behaviour:

Abusive or unkind behaviour towards teachers, staff, or other students will not be tolerated either online or at classes, and Yoga North East reserves the right to cancel your booking if it is felt that your behaviour is inappropriate.

 

Limitation of Liability – FOM Yoga:

In the unlikely event of injury, illness or theft or disruption to program, FOM Yoga/Marta Jackson is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property, or for any injury or illness sustained during the retreat.

Please check with your GP that you are well enough to attend the retreat for Yoga activities and walking (retreats are aimed at beginners and experienced practitioners alike, but if you are unsure, it’s best to check).

Cancellation policy is firm. Payment to FOM Yoga/ Marta Jackson indicates agreement with the conditions above, you will also be asked to tick a box on your booking form to confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
